About Kylie VandenBrand
As an exercise nutrition enthusiast, I have always possessed a deep passion for health and fitness, even as a teenager. After graduating from high school, I decided to attend Grand Valley State University (GVSU), where I earned my BS in Exercise Science. My education allowed me to dig even further into the world of exercise science and nutritional counseling, which has helped immensely when safely and effectively training clients to become the best version of themselves.
After college, I applied my fitness and nutrition knowledge to hospitals, rehab centers, and cardiac rehab clinics. During this time, I also taught group fitness classes in a Bootcamp setting and engaged in one-on-one personal training with clients of all activity backgrounds. I have worked with high school athletes looking to build muscle and endurance, senior citizens intent on boosting their mobility and quality of life, and every type of client in between.
My clients come from all walks of life but have one thing in common. They want a personal trainer who will work at their speed to give them the tools they need to improve their lives one nutritious meal and workout at a time.
Apart from fitness training and nutritional counseling, I have been a competitive bodybuilder for nearly seven years in women’s physique. My experience has taught me unique skills in food manipulation, allowing for stellar results you could not otherwise experience with exercise alone.
